Can Claude find a receipt in Hubdoc for me?

Yes. Helm can set Claude up to search your captured documents by supplier, date or amount and tell you what it found.

Can Claude check I have all my receipts for BAS?

Claude can list what has been captured for the period and point out regular suppliers that seem to be missing, so you can chase them up.

Is it safe to connect Hubdoc to Claude?

Yes, when it's set up properly. Helm agrees with you what Claude can see and do, uses the narrowest permissions Hubdoc allows, and keeps everything under your own accounts.

Does this work with ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot?

Often, yes. Most modern connections use MCP, an open standard that ChatGPT and Copilot Studio also support. We'll confirm what's possible for Hubdoc on the call.

Can Claude connect to Hubdoc?

Yes. Hubdoc doesn't have an official Claude connector yet, but Helm connects it for you, securely and with only the access you approve.

What is Hubdoc?

Hubdoc is a document capture tool, owned by Xero, that collects bills, receipts and statements, extracts key details and publishes them to accounting software. It is included with many Xero subscriptions and is common with Australian small businesses and bookkeepers.

Hubdoc holds bills, receipts and bank statements, so Helm keeps Claude to finding and summarising documents and does not let it publish or delete them.
